J. W. Weld is a lifelong devotee of the dark fantasy genre. Driven by a love of gritty realism and high-stakes action, Weld writes immersive stories defined by captivating characters, political intrigue, hard magic systems, and creative combat choreography. When not creating fictional worlds, Weld lives in Calgary, Alberta, pursuing his passion for powerlifting and combat sports. He is the author of the debut dark fantasy series, The Last Sin.
